George Clinton
Rainbow Dread Grandfather of Funk and Founder of Parliament-Funkadelic – Mr. George Clinton – is still rockin' and will release in
October a new Album called “George Clinton & Some Gangsters of Love” – with full of special guests like Carlos Santana,
Sly Stone, El DeBarge, Kim Burrell, RZA (Wu Tang Clan), Shavon (System of a Down) and Red Hot Chili Peppers – not to mention P-Funk Allstars
such as Belita Woods and Gary Shider.
“I didn't want to record to be nostalgic,” the Grandfather of Funk states. “I wanted to merge the old school with the
new school. Some of the kids didn't even know the original songs, so they did them their own way.” So check it out, he's still doing the funk!
